Privacy Policy

KhataKro is a construction site management application for contractors, site managers and business owners, operated by Geolatris (“Geolatris”, “we”, “us”), the data controller for the information described below. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights and choices you have. By creating an account or using the app you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, phone number and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from that provider.
• Business data you enter — information about your workers (names, roles, wage rates, and optionally ID card images, photos and signatures), attendance records, payments and advances, materials, vendors, subcontractors, sales/invoices, other expenses and construction sites.
• Device & usage data — a push-notification token (if you enable reminders) and diagnostic/crash information used to keep the app stable.
• Photos & files — images you choose to attach (worker photos, ID cards, signatures, profile photo). These are accessed only when you select them.

2. How we use your information

• To provide, operate and maintain the app’s features.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To calculate wages, payments, reports and profitability from the data you enter.
• To send attendance reminders and notifications you have opted into.
• To diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your business data for advertising.

3. Sharing & third-party services

We share data only with service providers that help us run the app, under agreements that limit their use of it:

• Google Firebase / Google & Apple Sign-In — authentication.
• Cloud hosting & database provider — to store your account and business data.
• Sentry — crash and error diagnostics.
• Expo push notifications — to deliver reminders you enable.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of users.

4. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your account is deactivated and your personal data is removed from active use and scheduled for deletion, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations.

5. Deleting your account & data

You can delete your account at any time from within the app: open Profile → Delete Account. This permanently deactivates your account and removes your associated data. You may also request deletion by emailing us at privacy@geolatris.com.

6. Security

Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing, data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and access to stored data is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

7. Children

KhataKro is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. You can exercise most of these directly in the app, or contact us for assistance.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
